Jenette N. Sears
Houston | Paralegal
Jenette works as a paralegal supporting our Energy and Real Estate law practice. Her experience in contract management and contract analysis, along with her land administration experience, provide a unique support service. Her contributions include services related to acquisition and divestiture due diligence, and leasing, title, and mineral buying projects. Specifically, Jenette assists attorneys by drafting chains-of-title, lease review and overview, researching liens and encumbrances, and determining mineral and oil and gas ownership. Her real estate experience includes the preparation of loan documents and providing closing support.
Jenette is a member of the Houston Paralegal Association, the Houston Metropolitan Paralegal Association, and the Houston chapter of the Women’s Energy Network.
Jenette is originally from Western New York, and she graduated from Texas A&M University at College Station with a degree in Biology. She enjoys giving back to the community and teaches a marriage preparation course for engaged couples.
Additionally, she strongly supports Spring Branch ISD through her volunteer work.
Jenette and her husband have two daughters, two dogs, and one cat. They enjoy the city life in Houston, along with escaping to the outdoors as avid campers.
